GetThirdPlace needs its companion server running on your Mac. Setup — server, connection, and remote access over Tailscale — is covered in the project QuickStart.
The app can't reach my server. Confirm the server is running on the Mac, and that the URL in Settings matches it. For away-from-home use, both devices must be signed into the same Tailscale network.
Wrong or forgotten PIN. The server prints its 5-digit
PIN at startup; it also lives in ~/.thirdplace/token on the
Mac.
